While we all know Boeing's plans for the Dreamliner One roll out, Flightblogger is taking it, as always, one step farther.
This blogger has been granted a media credential by Boeing for the roll out ceremony at Qwest Field on Sunday, July 8.
Throughout the afternoon of July 8, Flightblogger will provide live blogging of the roll-out. (depending on wireless availability) If your watching the roll out on your computer, this blogger recommends you have three windows open. Your streaming media player, Airliners.net roll-out forum thread, and of course Flightblogger. This page will be providing photographs of the live event to illustrate and provide commentary on the roll out of Dreamliner One.
Live blogging the roll out is not enough for this writer. Flightblogger is also excited to announce something you will not see anywhere else. Boeing expects nearly 22,000 attendees at Qwest Field in Seattle and of course hundreds of 787 program employees right on the factory floor.
I plan to be one of them.
Now I know for a fact that Boeing Employees frequent this page, and I kindly ask for your participation in providing a unique view for the world to see all of your incredible hard work. I like your blog and appreciate you hard work, but why should a few dozen readers subsidize your trip to Seattle? Watch it on TV or over the internet or something. You don't have to be there to cover the event as evidenced by your great reporting on the 787 thusfar.

I disagree, I believe live coverage of the event from the actual event will obviously lead to better reporting. Think of all the interviews, photo opportunites, and new insider information that will be at this event. I gave my $10 to help ya get there, good luck. Thanks for the website btw.

I hope you all realize that flightblogger will NOT be at the real event but at Qwest field. There will be no "Extra" interviews ect he will have access too. They are going to be receiving the same information "live feed" as is shown on the internet and Satellite. Unless you are in Everett, you might as well be at home. A media credential at Qwest Field means nothing... anyone can bring their camera and everyone wil see the same live feed. No special personel will be there. Woopdie Freaking do!

If they really wanted you to cover the event, why did they give you a "media credential" to the qwest field? lol All the real media will be at the actual event...Good luck. But i'd just stay home...

Jon, don't listen to the critics, just go and stand for all your readers. This year you go to Qwest Field, next year you may go to a press conference, and the year after that they may have you down to the hangars for champagne and caviar. :-)

I will be at the rollout, well really roll in at the factory. I will have camera in hand hopefully, not sure on restrictions right now.
