Boeing 767-300 VH-OGD wearing the new QANTAS colors. This is the first update to the QANTAS livery since the year after I was born! What do you think?

Queensland And Northern Territories Air Service. And if you don't think that came off the top of my head, Google "Wagga Wagga"

And, check out the A380 pics of the new logo - feet get amputated!

good on ya mate . . . figured some Aussie would show up.Cost me a couple of Tooheys New on a bet at the Kirribilli Pub in Sydney one night. It was worth it :)

Actually it is Quensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service (or Services - there is some ambiguity on this oweing to differences between what the company was originally incorporated as, and what it displayed on its aircraft and other items...)To be honest, the new logo just doesn't look right - it seems very awkward...

I had to go to a.net and look at a few 747's to be sure, but it's true. They have made a "minor" change to make the logo only suggestive of a living thing and therefore appropriate to the digital age. Humbug. Lee

Um you might want to look again Wagga - the logo on that A380 in your link is the current logo - not the new one :)

Just wondering...isn't this site supposed to be about the Dreamliner and not aviation in general? Why the post about a new QANTAS livery on a 767? FWIW, I think the updated livery looks quite nice.

This site is about aviation. All areas of global commercial aviation specifically. The 787 has been a focus lately, but it is in no way limited to just that topic.

It is my impression, from the start, is that this site is obviously for the 787 from the beginning.

Just think of it as a preview for the Qantas 787. The 763 is about the same size

Some more detailsbr/>re the logo. Check out the comments. The A380 is the old logo.

It took a little while to get to this (we're a bit busy at work making bits for the 787). I reckon the new 'roo looks ugly. The previous version looked lean and graceful, this one looks fat and cartoonish.
