looks like a plane that was rebuilt after a crash.
What is under the white patch above the wing in the third picture?
Have they changed the doors on ZA001? Or has the previous paintwork been removed or just covered up? Or could they even be temporary while she was moved out?
TomB, that is covering a bit of skin repair due to a worker being a little liberal with a sander....had to be covered to protect against UV damage as it wasn't complete at the time of the line move.
And for the doors, those are the real doors this time. They were plywood for the roll-out.
Dan:
Seems as if they've used paper to cover the doors, nothing else :)
MW,
The Yellow object is a weight box to simulate the weight of the missing engine. Without it the 787 would sit back on it's tail. Notice the structural test aircraft in pictures 2,4, and 5 have large red steel pipes for weight boxes.
No doubt, Boieng lost her credibility by introducing her colored B787 last year and then stripped it off completely. I wondor what type of planning they have. and where the key persons were before giving their cometment to clients.
