Awesome.

doesn't look like there's a lot of commonality between the fleets...

I don't think Northwest operates the 747-200B anymore (except maybe cargo).

Northwest still uses two 742's for charters...

Nice grafix, but inflight with gear down and flaps up doesn't make much sense, does it?

Geez - could two fleets be any LESS compatible? They both have 752's and nothing else in common...

What a mongrel fleet. I presume those DC-9s must be going away pretty quickly with the current cost of fuel as will the MD-80 types.

I guess the question now comes...will new aircraft be A or B? Delta (who will be most of management) is all B, but Northwest has gone A mostly...

Very interesting, and important looking at the fleet age...

Very cool graphic!

It'll be quite the task to get those two airlines integrated. I can't foresee any problems with trying to merge the two pilot seniority lists, can you? ;) - Labour lawyers are going to make a lot of money off this one.

Regardless, it'll be interesting to see what happens in the industry now.

Cheers

NWA is going to have to find work for the guys that shovel coal in the DC-9s if they retire them.

Wow! NWA doesn't have any DC9-10s'?

I saw a Delta 747 today at JFK parked at Delta's cargo terminal or is the chart just for PAX planes?
