Q: So how does Barack Obama like his hamburger?
A: Medium well, cheddar cheese, dijon mustard, lettuce and tomato with salad and don't hold the fries.
The historic flight from Chicago to Washington, DC was widely covered right up until he reached the cabin door, though National Geographic took over filming to witness President-Elect Obama's first official trip to Washington aboard an Air Force C-32 (Boeing 757) aircraft on January 4th.
My personal favorite line from Obama: "You look like Sam Shepard from the Right Stuff."
The clip was filmed as part of the Onboard Air Force One documentary being aired on January 25th at 8 PM/9 PM ET/PT on the National Geographic Channel.

You call this industry news? This is a joke, much like the rest of flightblogger "news of the world" sensationalist and unethical style

It is interesting to me that USAF has put out RFI's to replace USAF #1 and they can't get the act together to replace 50 year old refueling tankers. Somehow I think we have lost our perspective here.

I am very happy that President Barack Obama, our first Ethnic African American President got his first taste of what it will be like to fly on the C-32 ( B737) by the US Airforce 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.
President Obama has alot of choices for Air Force One
VC-25 (Boeing B747-200)
VC-32 (Boeing B757-200)
VC-40 (Boeing B737-700)
VC-37 ( Gulfstream 5)
VC-20 ( Gulfstream 4)
I wonder why there is not a Presidential Turboprop to get the Pres of the USA to small towns who may have runways from 4000 to 5000 ft which a converted airline turboprop like Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 and Q400 could fill this role with no problems and would look stunning with white and blue livery, in bold black letters " United States of America" Plus could save taxpayers money on flights under 500 NM which may be beyond VH-71 Kestrel's and the VH-60 Marine One helicopters!
God bless America and President Obama!
