This girl looks ready to cast off the surly bonds, etc. & act like a homesick angel.

Thanks Jon....Nice to see her outside again finally.

It looks as though all the launch customer logos have been removed as part of the paint touch up?

Thanks for sharing the pictures! Working at Boeing Fab. Division in Portland keeps us from seeing the progress. It's nice to come across the pictures that show exact placement of assemblies that were produced from our shop.

Um, thats one sexy airplane!!!. Can't wait to work on it.

Suland

This is the most shiniest aircraft I have ever seen!!! It gets very tempting to wait for this beauty to fly.

Jon - Have they weighed it yet? If not, when?

Keep on Dreaming Liner

I saw this baby while it was in the factory being made.......she's beautiful........theres this museum in seattle that takes you on a tour into the factory, thats how i saw it,i would have taken some pics but they wouldnt allow anyone to take any electronics into the factory

Sebastian_Pilot

OMG, it's pretty exciting to see her ready to fly!! I hope when LAN gets their 787s i have become first officer already, so i can have the pleasure of commanding this beaty!
Cheers from Chile

Nice to see her in the sunshine.

How about you post the wing bending test photo from Boeing Media so everyone can see it.

airplanejim

With all the extra wiring, strain gages, testing equipment and non production "things" on board this aircraft, what relevance does the weight of ZA001 have to the production aircraft that will eventually follow?

Wow, this aircraft is one of the most beautiful aircraft i've ever seen. so sexy. cool!

Evin Ormond

Seeing is Believing ;-)

This aircraft looks pretty nice, but it
already did so last summer, during the
first roll-out.
Just looking nice doesn't mean very much
in aviation.
Now we really want to see it FLY, the
Dreamliner 787 maiden flight is long
overdue !
