John...nice photo. I have done my fair share of traveling, and never seen this until our last return to the US from London. There below us ( it was almost directly below us in our case) , for about 15 minutes as we gradually passed it, was a similar wide-bodied plane...not sure what it was though. The flight attendant assured me that the crews were probably talking to each other. The thing that left an impression on me was the feeling that you could almost reach out and touch it, yet ...it seemed small, almost like a model airplane. Enjoy London.

leave it 2 u jon. if there is a 1 engine Jumbo jet outhere, you'll c it flying from inside the window of another plane while flying yourself. this is the nicest picture of it jet (i mean , yet) and while in action at altitude. good job. talk about an elusive aircraft. this is one of them. I hope u don't c a wing eating gremlin next time (ha!)

You are one lucky guy Jon. That's a gorgeous shot! The wing flex looks amazing.

Can anyone else confirm? I have heard the 787 first flight has been pushed back to next month due to technical issues.
