I really should just say submitted without comment, but really, it deserves one. This is absolutely spectacular. It is the kind of video that just brings a massive smile to my face because it captures every single reason why I love aviation. I trust it will do the same for you. My hat's off to Slickhutto.

Nothing in the world takes me back like the sight of a C-47.
White Knight 2 always looks like two aircraft in really close formation.
Damn fine video.

Remind me again why we'd rather listen to bad rock music than Merlins and R2800s?

Great video! Really captured the essence. Got to agree, though: Merlins and R2800's are a real symphony and make a great sound track.

A wonderful video of what draws me back each and every year to the experience of Oshkosh!! There is nothing else in the world quite like it. If you love aviation go next year and celebrate with all the rest of us that love to smell jet fuel in the morning! It is always worth the trip.

Love it --- have seen many of those planes at Thunder over Michigan in Ypsilanti - the Oracle plane was fantastic - but looks like Osh Kosh is way bigger... will have to road trip sometime.
What was the background music? I thought it fit well.

Absolutely great video. Growing up I was interested
in nothing but cars but after my son joined the
Air Force I began to appreciate aircraft, and I can sure appreciate this video.
By the way, the song fits the video perfectly. It's
"All These Things I've Done" by The Killers. Killer
tune.

That is the best music I've heard in a long time, and more importantly in this context, absolutely perfect for the imagery. It soars, and really drives the video.
Some of you commenters are idiots. No offense.

An absolutely awesome group of Oshkosh 2009 video clips with but one bit of criticizm. The film producer seriously handicapped the beauty of aircraft in motion when the beautiful sounds associated with all but one flight were deleted. Shame! Next time, please, please leave the music at the concert.
