I may have to create a new tag for the blog called awkward airplanes now that I have a second post to go along side this gem from the British Airways catalog. Special thanks to Andrew Sulimoff who spotted this A350 XWB in an ad for Circuit City in his email this morning. As far as I can tell, its inclusion in the ad is completely inexplicable. I'll just scratch my head about this one.

I thought Circuit City was completely liquidated!

The website was purchased by a company named Systemax.

It's because the XWB uses the HP for the EFB :-)

Oh boy! You know it's a slow news day when you see Jon blogging about advertising. Either that or Jon had one of those I don't want to go work to day moments. No doubt from all the jet lag he racked up last week. So I bet he rolled out bed and spotted the advertising on the kitchen table while eating his morning cheerios. He then preceded to blog the A350 advertising and was back in bed in less than 15 minutes counting 787's as he drifted off to sleep. Or if he was really really smart he did that Friday afternoon and emailed it in Monday morning.

"Light and powerful!"

I'm also scratching my head over the fact that circuit city joined the big mall in the sky about a year ago or so. So how did Andrew receive this
E-mail today is beyond me. anyways, who knows if the A350 will only fly on e-mails? a lot of scratching going on around here. gotta switch shampoos!

That is really cool about "Light and PowerfulI"! I did not really spotted that phrase seeing the ad in the morning. It says it all! But will it BLEND...oh sorry, FLIGHT? :)
