Photos of Note: Visiting Embraer

| | Comments (4) | TrackBacks (0) |
As you may know, I was down in Brazil last week visiting Embraer's Sao Jose dos Campos and Gaviao Peixoto facilities. We had a chance to see the company's commercial jet production and the rapidly advancing Phenom 100 line. Embraer hopes to deliver 110 Phenoms this year and it looks like they are well on their way doing just that. We were only allowed to photograph selected portions of the assembly operations, but I hope that it gives you a glimpse into the goings on at two of the company's biggest facilities.

Nice pictures thanks for going all that way to take them:-)
Looking at the displays, I think i would rather have a G1000 with synthetic vision. Do you know if they are going to offer synthetic vision technology?

You took 165 pictures at Embraer of aircraft, pilots, and scenery and there was only one pretty girl in one of the pictures. I'd be sick too if that happen to me.

As much as this kills me to admit, the Qantas A380 takes a real pretty picture.

The big red handle on the lower right of the console on the Phenom seen on PP-XOQ...what is it? Is it the parking brake? Or is it the handle I've heard about on the Bandierante, that fails the landing gear in an emergency situation?
