"American Airways", the fictional combination of American Airlines and US Airways, does not exist. But American Airlines unions' endorsement this morning of the US Airways take-over bid allows us some license to speculate. Meanwhile, Flightglobal Ascend analysts have provided your blogger with up-to-date orders and letters of intent of both airlines. If somehow US Airways and American consolidate into a single carrier, this is the order book they'll have to work with and -- possibly -- reshape.
