The end of the press conference descended into chaotic thronging crowds as a large media scrum formed around Sir Richard Branson and Burt Rutan
Earlier in the day Branson's familty (left) had spoken to Danish born Galactic founder Per Wimmer
The press conference might have ended by noon but the interviews saw the media event extend well into the afternoon and then it was time for the party
Many of the Virgin Galactic customers, founders and pioneers all, may have wondered if they would encounter extraterrestrial life, but did they have to look that far?
