What do you mean you don't read Swedish?

Go through to the extended portion of this blog post to see the translation

FIVE NORDIC TOUR cleared to SELL SPACE TRAVEL to Virgin Galactic

You are hereby invited to the press conference with Richard Branson rymdturist company Virgin Galactic. At the press conference, held in Gothenburg in connection with the TUR fair, the names of the five Scandinavian travel agents who have the right to sell exclusive Virgin Galactic space travel to the public to be revealed. Representatives of travel agents, two of which are English, will be present. In addition, one of the first space passengers with Virgin Galactic to be in place: charismatic investment banker Per Wimmer. He expects to be the first Dane in space and his ultimate aim to planted the Danish flag on the moon. The press conference led by Carolyn Wincer, Sales for Virgin Galactic, which will show previously unpublished film footage from the SpaceShipOne test flights from 2004 and a recent test flight with Virgin Galactic mother ship WhiteKnightTwo.

OK, Google translation didn't seem to get the headline from the Agency public relations company press release cum invite quite right but you get the gist

But one has to wonder if Scandinavia, that region of five countries (including bankrupt Iceland) and 24.7 million people, really need five travel agents? How many millionaire spaceflight enthusiasts can there be?

For those of you wondering who Per Wimmer is, this is his website and he also appeared as the launch customer, so to speak, for Xcor Aerospace's Lynx Mk 1 rocket powered aircraft that won't get you quite into space

We are many spaceflght enthusiasts in Sweden and Scandinavia that want to go to space and that has the money to go to space. The Swedes are climbing on the Forbes list of the most rich people in the world. The are now 2 Swedes among the 20 riches people. Thats pretty amazing for a little country of 9 million people. So there is potential.

I think it has more to do with the link between Galactic and Spaceport Sweden myself
