What the hell?!
In terms of chronology in the history of mankind this demonstration of who has the biggest swinging dick is uttered in the same breath as the western world's gigantic nosedive out of the economic tree, mass unemployment, near-pointless warmongering and overall pant-browning terrorism, in a world that is paranoid about who is going to blow the hell out of who.
The guy has an island to himself for god's sake. Is it me or does this guy have any idea of how much of [edited to avoid possible slander]??

Any more on the images that appear to be on the bottom of White Knight Two's port boom?
From what I can make out, it appears to be Icarus, Wright Flyer, Spirit of St. Louis, Bell X-1, and what could be a B-52.

Its called the DNA of flight by the Virgin folks and that's a B747 you see not a B52

Mr. Ghost, unless there is a world war going on, it takes well-financed visionaries coupled with mad-genius inventors to advance technology. If you hadn't noticed, big-ticket technology has been stagnant since the late 60s. Saturn/Apollo, the 747... The USAF is still flying the B-52 and KC-135 for crying out loud.
So, we stagnate. Paralysis by analysis, Mr. Ghost. If Msrs. Branson and Musk can create a market that can finally push us into becoming a space-faring race, then more power to them.
On a less serious note, Mr. Branson's mom was quite the looker in her day and it's easy to see where he gets his charm.
