Pardon my ignorance... but what's the point of this specific vehicle beyond the greater goal of working towards consumer-level space flight?
5 minutes in low orbit is a nice fair ride for the rich who don't consider the carbon impact, but does this vehicle serve any immediate practical purpose? Can it reach high enough altitude to dock with the ISS? Will this move us closer to a similar craft that can completely break orbit?
