According Intelsat, the jammed south solar array panel on its commercial communications satellite, Intelsat 19 (IS-19), was finally deployed on 12 June 2012. This followed four apogee manoeuvering firings on 11 June 2012. The firm's engineers are currently conducting tests to establish the performance, power level, structural integrity and operability of the south array panel. The Ku-band deflector deployment is scheduled for 18 July.

The cause of the original jam which became evidenct soon after alunch. is still being investigated.  It had been suggested that an event recorded by on board microphones during the Sea Launch provided launch might have been involved.
