Note-swapping, travel and social networking

A new social networking site goes into public beta testing today with the release of The service, based in Helsinki, tries to be a site also serves as a connected and personalized social community for documenting a traveller’s experience and sharing the information that matters to them. But Tripsay enters an increasingly crowded marketplace; it’s far from the only on-line community-creating social networking travel site. A group of young Germans has created tripwolf, while also emerging are driftr, hereorthere, yowtrip, and uptake (formerly kango). There’s also dopplr, tripit and brightkite. Tripadvisor is considered the grandaddy of them all, and Mobissimo, the meta-crawler or travel-shopping comparison site, added MobiFriends in July, letting shoppers compare notes as well.

Tripsay’s public beta release contains a couple of new features added since the private beta version, including: worldbuilder, which lets users easily rate places, add tips and new places; a group filter that allows users to filter places, tips, and content based on the preferences of members of a certain group; favorite tips that lets  users their favorite tips in their own private group for safekeeping – essentially creating their own personal travel guide; editing tools that let users change their own tips, added places; and a group message board: Members of a groups can have discussions. Left Field has arranged a tour of the site: send an email to and enter Left Field in the subject line. They’ll send you a password.

First human beings, then pets and now travel, seems social networking will slowly and steadily cover all things existing on earth. With so many networking sites around i myself get confused as to which one to check out!!

Aside from the tree house design kit you will need several tools to aid the build. This will give the structure strength as well as rigidity, repeat as many times because you see required for how much weight you want to bear.

An impressive share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was doing a little homework on this. And he in fact bought me lunch due to the fact that I discovered it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thanks for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending time to discuss this issue here on your blog.

I rarely comment, but i did some searching and wound up here Note-swapping, travel and social networking
    - Left Field. And I do have a couple of questions for you
if it’s allright. Could it be only me or does it give the
impression like some of these comments come across like written by brain dead folks?
:-P And, if you are posting on other social sites, I’d
like to keep up with everything new you have to post.
Would you list of all of your communal sites like
your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
