Other key facts you should know:
1) The first aircraft to be equipped with the new business class product is SIA's first A330-300, which was delivered today during a ceremony in Toulouse.
2) Full entry of the A330-300 into commercial service will occur on 30 March on the Singapore-Brisbane route.
3) A total 19 two-class 330-300s will phased into service to replace SIA's Boeing 777-200s on medium haul routes to Australian and Japanese cities. They will be used to fill SIA's capacity requirements on an interim basis until the delivery of its A350 XWB-900s and Boeing 787-9s.

4) The new seat will also be progressively retrofitted onto other existing medium-haul aircraft, as part of the airline's ongoing product enhancement efforts.
"The delivery of these new aircraft provides us the opportunity to enhance our product offering for customers on regional and medium haul routes. This reaffirms our commitment to constant innovation of the products and services we offer to customers, tailored around their needs on particular flights," says SIA executive VP operations and services Mak Swee Wah.
But, you ask, what about economy seating?. Well, we already know passengers will have KrisWorld IFE systems at every seat, which means iPod and iPhone connectivity. But the actual econo seat is already available on SIA's 777-300ER (see below) and Airbus A380 aircraft.
