Russia’s next generation airliner, the MS-21, created plenty of buzz at the Farnborough air show. A partial cabin mock-up of the 150-210-seat family revealed Zodiac interiors with Zodiac unit Sicma’s integrated IFE/seat. All photos are courtesy of Will Horton. Check it out.

Definitely not your grandma’s TU-104! Missing a week on this blog means you miss a lot!

I’m liking the black gloss galley tops, makes a nice change from the sterile-looking stainless steel.

However, there seems to be a lot of excess space in that lav. I’m guessing the production model would have a more ‘traditional’ size toilet??

To meet new regulations, new-design aircraft must have toilets that are accessible to the disabled so the MS-21, CSeries, Superjet, etc, are all offering at least one large-sized lav. It makes things a little more comfortable for everyone, though.
