Boeing F-15SE: The Movie

My buddy Marcus Weisgerber, managing editor at Inside the Air Force, has posted a nicely-edited, short video from Boeing's roll-out of the F-15 Silent Eagle earlier this week.

You can see from the video that we were not allowed to view the F-15SE from the aft fuselage, apparently due to disclosure worries about new electronic support measures equipment.

Those weapons bay doors are also not being filmed in slow motion. But Boeing says that's only temporary. The F-15SE was jury-rigged for the unveiling ceremony. The weapons bay doors were powered by a simple electric motor. The real system will likely be powered by the aircraft's hydraulic system.
