Lockheed Martin assembled local news reporters yesterday in upstate New York to test drive the company's entry for the Pentagon Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) contract, assuring the reporters beforehand that the vehicle is "very hard" to tip.

A cable television news reporter for News 10 Now escaped serious
injury when he flipped the vehicle while driving it on a cross-country
track. Neil St. Clair walked away from the crash with only minor
injuries, News 10 Now reported on its Web site. A photographer in the
passenger seat and a Lockheed Martin test driver in the back also
suffered only minor injuries. All three were transported to a Wilson
Regional Medical Center in Johnson City for evaluation and treatment
for minor cuts and bruises.St. Clair was driving down a hill. While making a turn at the bottom of the hill, the vehicle flipped over and was damaged.

Excuse my ignorance but apart from the fact that the manufacturer is involved in aerospace for other products, where is the aviation connection here?
Ford once built a Trimotor (airplane) - does that mean Flight should cover every Ford product?

The connection is with defense items being demonstrated for reporters for PR and the situation going bad real quick.
