#AUVSI: Skate UAV flies inside my office

I’ve seen many flight demonstrations before, but never one inside my office. A crew from Aurora Flight Sciences’ research and technology laboratory in Cambridge, Massachusetts, yesterday flew the backpack-able Skate UAV inside Flightglobal’s newsroom inside the Denver Convention Center. I wasn’t in the office at the time, but my co-workers enjoyed the show.

I really hope General Atomics offers to do a flight demo of the MQ-9 for you…:D

It looks like a toy. Is that tape on the rear part of the UAV there?

I have always been interested in Navy SEALs and although I couldn’t enlist, I bought myself a cool Navy SEAL watch. Girls pay much more attention to me now. =)
Concerning the topic, I should say that I couldn’t agree more. You have just confirmed the guesses I had.
