F-35A launches AMRAAM (kinda)

The US Air Force version of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter has released an AIM-120 AMRAAM missile at Edwards AFB, California, for the first time. Maj Matthew Phillips jettisoned the instrumented missile over the China Lake test range from aircraft AF-1 on October 19, 2012, .
