Grumman F-14 Tomcat explodes as it breaks Mach 1

This isn't news per se, but it is kinda cool. This is a video of a US Navy Grumman F-14 Tomcat exploding after it punches through the sound barrier...  Of course, the Navy retired the Tomcat a few years back, but it was a sharp looking jet. These days Iran is the only country to fly the F-14... and I suppose it wouldn't be outside the realm of the possible to see their Tomcats exploding in the coming months. Indeed, David Rothkopf at Foreign Policy magazine cites a source that says the US and Israel have come to an understanding that  they would conduct a limited series of joint air strikes to knock out Iran's nuclear facilities--should the  time come to act.
