The Naval Air Systems Command released this video yesterday of a Boeing EA-18G Growler launching from an electro-magnetic launch system catapult, which is replacing the conventional stream cats found on previous carriers on the USS Gerald R Ford-class ships. The launch kicks off the second phase of shore-based aircraft compatibility tests using the EMALS at Lakehurst, New Jersey.
