  • COPA from 15 Jun launches 4 weekly Panama City – Nassau service on board E190.


  • China Southern w.e.f 23 Jan has increased Guangzhou – Kathmandu service from three to six weekly. Service operates with A319 daily except on Tuesdays.


  • South African Airways w.e.f from 1 May makes its Johannesburg – New York service nonstop by removing the Dakar stop on both legs.


  • CSA Czech Airlines from 22 Jun launches A320 service to Hanoi. An article on this willl be posted soon.


  • Spirit Airlines from 13 Jun plans to launch 3 weekly Ft. Lauderdale – San Salvador service.


  • Kuwit Airways from 27 Mar is cancelling service to Chittagong and Lahore. The carrier will increase both Islamabad and Kochi from 3 weeekly to daily.


  • Turkish Airlines from 27 Mar launches 4 wkly Istanbul – Valencia service from 27 Mar. It will launch 3 wkly IST – Malaga service from 27 Apr. It will also launch three weekly IST – Toulouse service from 28 Mar.


  • Myanmar International from 27 Mar increases Yangon – Singapore service from four weekly to daily. Service operates with A320. The carrier is also launching service to Guangzhou from 3 Mar, twice weekly on board A320.


  • Malaysia Airlines has cancelled the planned service launch to Riyadh ( originally w.e.f 03 Jun) and has instead upgraded the existing four weekly service to Jeddah to Boeing 747-400 from 27 Mar.


  • SriLankan Airlines has postponed its planned Kochi service resumption to 16 Mar, largely owing to delayed delivery of its next A320 .
