All About the NEW Air India - Part 1

 Air India will finally start operating under a single AOC on February 12, completing the merger of Air India, Indian and Alliance Air. What is the shape of new AI's network ? Which routes will it operate ? We're here to find out.

Largest hubs : Delhi, Mumbai

 The merger completion on the twelveth will see all routes move into AI flight numbers and a refreshed set of flight numbers, among others.

Let's have a look at the route network first.

The new AI;s most interesting feature is its route network - something it never had and which was almost exclusive to Indian and Alliance Air.
