Jet Airways to go nonstop to New York, and to launch Amsterdam

Jet Airways (IATA:9W) has applied to start nonstop flights to New York area from India. The airline is expected to start the route from either Delhi or Mumbai. Jet's three Boeing 777-300ERs currently on a wet lease with Turkish Airlines are scheduled to return by October, which the carrier will use for this route. It is believed that the carrier may opt to operate BOM-JFK.
Jet has also been granted rights to operate flights to Amsterdam, which will likely operate daily from 30 Oct onboard Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
