KLM Returns to Buenos Aires

You read it here first. A trusted source has informed The Networker that KLM plans to resume it is services to Buenos Aires, Argentina from the beginning of the IATA Winter timetable (31st Oct) – after a twelve year hiatus. The service will be operating thrice weekly, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is believed that the flight will have a daylight departure and an overnight arrival to fit the existing hub banks. The equipment is believed to be Boeing 777-200ER, although there is a chance that the airline may opt for either a MD11 or A330 operation. The final route, and equipment details will be published here as soon as they are available. So keep an eye on this blog !

The route will be KLM’s longest nonstop route, surpassing it’s presently longest, Manila route ( 14h 5 min).
