Sri Lanka and the UK have revised the bilateral air services agreement between the two countries, Sri Lanka's state radio reported. Previously Sri Lankan airlines were allowed 14 weekly flights to the UK, which has now been increased to 21 weekly. The agreement has also provided fifth freedom rights to SriLankan between UK and the Canada. SriLankan presently flies 13 times a week to London Heathrow, and was mulling flights to Toronto via London. The airline recently stated that it would add flights to London Gatwick and Manchester within 2011.
