Delta Air Lines, effective 17th June will be suspending its flights to Kiev indefinitely. The airline presently serves Kiev from New York, JFK. The move is likely a part of the airline's cost cutting initiative. The airline will continue to offer code-share service to Kiev via Paris and Amsterdam.
The competition to this route comes from Aerosvit Airlines which operates a five times weekly service between New York JFK and Kiev.
