Seoul Gimpo – Beijing flights begin on 1 July

The governments of South Korea and China agreed in May 2011 to transfer some of Seoul Incheon Airport’s Beijing flights to the Seoul Gimpo airport. These flights have now been loaded on the GDS by the respective carriers. Per the agreement, Air China, Asiana Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Korean Air each will transfer one of their existing daily Incheon – Beijing flights to Gimpo.

Seoul Incheon (ICN) is Seoul’s new international airport, however the old, now largely domestic, Seoul Gimpo (GMP) is the airport that is most easily accessible from the city of Seoul. With this, Beijing becomes Seoul Gimpo’s fifth international destination, after Tokyo Haneda, Nagoya, Osaka and Shangahi Hongqiao. All Gimpo – Beijing flights will operate into Beijing Capital ( PEK ) airport.

Seoul – Beijing flights schedule effective 1st July 2011
