AirAsia X Shifts London Flights to Gatwick

AirAsia X, effective 24th October is shifting its London operations from London Stansted to London Gatwick. The long haul low cost carrier has been serving Stansted since 2008. The move can be seen as an attempt to capture higher yielding traffic. Discussions between Gatwick airport and AirAsia X are believed to have continued for a long time.
