Thai Airways effective 31st October is upgrading the aircraft type on its routes to Bangalore (Bengaluru) and Colombo.
Bangalore
Service increases to daily Boeing 777-200ER from the present mix of Boeing 777-200ER and A330-300. This however will bring a total of 7 seats less than the present number, since the 772 seats 302 passengers versus the 333's 303.

Colombo
Capacity increases to four times weekly Boeing 777-200ER from the present A300-600 service. In the event of Colombo, this is the first time that the city is receiving the 777-200ER from Thai, in recent times. The 772 adds 200 extra seats to Colombo per week, with 302 seats versus the A300's 252 seats.
