Emirates Airline recently announced its intention to operate a daily Airbus A380 service to Munich, from Dubai, from 1st January 2012. However, with Lufthansa having announced a one week of Airbus A380 service between Munich and New York JFK in December, it seems that Emirates thought Lufthansa should not get the honour of operating the first A380 service from Munich. Emirates has just brought forward its A380 service to Munich from 2012, to 25th November, 2011.
With this, Emirates will be operating two daily flights to Munich, with one Airbus A380 and the other with an Airbus A340-300.

With this change, the launch of A380 service to Kuala Lumpur is being pushed back from 1st December 2011 to 1st January 2010.
