The airline made farewell to its passenger operations with a Boeing 767-300ER, registration PH-MCL, painted in its original MAC livery with the words Thank you and Bedankt (Thank you in Dutch) painted on its belly. The aircraft models that Martinair has operated over the years range from DC-3 to the F-28 to Boeing 747, while its network reached almost every corner of the world over the years. All of Martinair’s passenger routes have now been absorbed by KLM, its present owner.
