VLCT 12 years ago - A380 revenue service in six hours time

This is the oldest Flight International story I can find on our website about what became the A380. It was written by somebody called Guy Norris, which tells you how long ago it was.

Here's another interesting link to Boeing's thinking in those days. They agonised for a long time. And I think I wrote this on funding myself - just getting an inkling of things to come.

But here's what Flight is reporting today. Amazing stuff.

Why does everyone forget about the father of the A380?? The McDonnell Douglas MD-12! Let's give credit where credit is due...
