Pilots' jobs - there are still one or two around

Honestly this is not an ad for Flight International's outstandingly good jobs pages - I really am making a point about the number of pilots' jobs out there, despite the doom and gloom you keep seeing on pilots' websites. Helps if you're the more adventurous type though as you'll see below.

Here's this week's selection from the magazine - even more likely to turn up on the website.

Great Wall Airlines: 747-400 captains and FOs, based Shanghai
Jet Airways: 737 captains and TRI/TRE, based India
TNT Airways: 747-400ERF captains/FOs/SOs and 737-300 pilots based Duai and Liege
Ryanair (obviously): 737NG pilots - training
Air France: A320 pilots, based Paris (fluent French SVP)
Karthago Airlines: 737-300 captains and FOs, based Tunisia
Virgin Nigeria: Embraer 170/1905 pilots, based Lagos
Onurair: A320 captains and FOs, based Istanbul

If you prefer the bizjet thing:

Twinjet: Challenger captains, based UK (£80K basic)
Execujet: 125-800 captain and FO, based Lagos
247Jet: Bravo pilots, based UK (£90K+ basic)
Air Harrods: A109/S-76 pilots. London
UK VIP operator: Challenger and S-76 captain and FO
Malaysian company: GV captain, based Kuala Lumpur
Jet Aviation: GV/G550 captains and FOs, worldwide
DragonFly: Kingair captains, Cardiff
Mid East VVIP operator: RJ85 captains

Rotary types can try:

British International: S61 and AS365N pilots based worldwide

And instructors should drop a line to:

Alpha Aviation Group, flight and sim instructors, Europe, mid-East and Asia

Oh, and there's a pretty cushy number flying King Airs in Afghanistan for "a major UK organisation" (beats me). Email applications to Unity Air, which it seems is a business unit of Unity Resources Group. Six weeks on, two weeks off - I think you'll need them!

Good luck.
