Here is the transcript and here's the audio. Best thing is to listen to it while reading the transcript at the same time.
Comment from me is largely superfluous. I'll just note, as I'm sure you will, the uncanny mix of utter tension and total calm in Sully's voice, but more importantly the remarkable speed at which events happened. The crew's reputation could hardly be any higher - but after listening to this I think you'll have an even greater appreciation of what they achieved.

That was truly amazing. They were all so calm, and it happened so fast... I knew what happened but when the conroller lost contact my heart still stopped.

Really inspiring. Makes you wonder what might've happened if someone with less poise and patience was behind the wheel of the plane.

With these being tower/tracon recordings only, that were
not taken from 1549's CVR, I wonder when or if the actual
CVR recordings will be released, or transcripted ?
Kudos on your website, by the way, really great work...

Makes you wonder what might have happened with another aircraft... They would all be dead

Thank you for the tape and transcripts. I was TRYING to listen to it on CNN live, however the announcer kept talking over it! Why do they always do that!
