Bombardier - CRJ200 ER
The CRJ200 series, equipped with improved CF34-3B1 turbofans providing increased thrust and a 2.8% improvement in specific fuel consumption was launched on 18 September 1995 with an order from Tyrolean Airways, which took delivery of their first aircraft on 15 January 1996. The Series 200 supplanted the CRJ100 in production and is also available in ER and LR versions, which essentially mirror their 100 series counterparts, apart from the use of the CF34-3B1 powerplant and the introduction of an improved flight management system and GPS equipment. More powerful CF34-3B1 turbofans are available in the CRJ200B variant which is optimised for hot and high performance. Corporate-configured versions of the CRJ are also offered, including the 18-30 passenger Corporate JetLiner and the more luxurious15-19 passenger, longer range, Special Edition (SE).
