The 777-200LR Worldliner (Longer Range) offers airlines additional flexibility in serving the non-stop routes. Launched on 15 February 2000, the-200LR was rolled out on 14 November 2002 and made its maiden flight on 08 March 2005, before embarking on a six-month flight test programme. On 10 November 2005 Boeing established a new world record for distance travelled non-stop by a commercial aircraft when a 777-200LR flew eastbound between Hong Kong and London Heathrow, a total distance of 21,601 km (11,664 miles) First Delivery was made to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on 08 March 2005. A freighter version of the -200LR, originally known as the 777-200LRXF, but now simply known as the Boeing 777 Freighter, which was launched on 23 May 2005, with an order from Air France.
