Thales Training & Simulation
Thales Training & Simulation is a major international supplier of simulators and training devices for civil and military aviation, energy and entertainmment applications. Customers include most major airlines and armed forces worldwide.
Thales' training division started in 1939 with LMT in France.
The Thales simulation division was formed in 1976. In 1979, it aquired Burtek from the USA.
1990 saw Link-Miles being added to the portfolio, followed in 1993 by Hughs Rediffusion Simulation (UK).
In May 1994 the division was named Thomson Training and Simulation.
In December 2000 it became Thales Training & Simulation.
