ADF-E Comm/IT Engineer 3/4

Identifies, analyzes and documents requirements for network transport technologies and services. Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards. Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of implementation packages per Boeing standards. Performs and/or leads the maintenance of network systems. Collects and compiles data for budget planning. Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects. Leads and organizes the creation and documentation of network designs. Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques. Develops and implements cost control action plans based upon review of internal and sourced infrastructure. Ability to design communications system hardware requirements for incorporation into CADD drawlings to include understanding RF, Copper, Fiber, and server architecture design requirements.

Typical Education/Experience



Level 3 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically related work experience or a Master's degree with related work experience or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and related work experience or a Master's degree with related work experience or a PhD degree with related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is located in Northern Virginia area near Springfield VA. Candidate is preferred to have a current TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, or must have the ability to obtain these clearance requirements.
