Armament Supervisor - North Wales

Our client is a leading Defence Services provider and they are looking to recruit an Armament Supervisor to work at a base in Anglesey.

Candidates applying for this position need to be aware that could be employed anywhere in the forward maintenance area and the positon will require shift work, there will be a willingness and ability to undertake detachments for this position.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Hawk armament systems and possess good fault diagnostic skills.
The ability to implement and maintain efficient working practices and be articulate in written and oral communication.

Also required is a good knowledge of quality, safety and environmental management systems along with R.A.F. engineering policy documentation.

You will need to have the ability to work under pressure and be able to achieve task objectives and deadlines in a cost effective manner and be company focused.

The role requires an enthusiastic and disciplined team player with the ability to work under own initiative when required.

Qualifications required for this role are either an NVQ Level 3 in armament engineering maintenance or recieved military armament engineering training or have the equivalent civilian training, you will also need to have a good knowledge and experience of armed aircraft operations.

The successful candidate will be part of the team working on various aspects of armament and forward activities in support of the Hawk aircraft
