Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Government Operations. Responsibilities include: A key partner for the SVP of Government OPs in helping to ensure that the work of the office is successfully completed. Overseeing the requirements necessary for the day-to-day operation of the executive office suite including providing insights about office operations and ways to improve the operation. In many cases the first contact people have with the office. As such must be professional, courteous, and by coordinating the schedule on a daily basis for near term and long term priorities. Prioritizing schedule commitments to facilitate company strategies and goals. This includes demonstrating flexibility with scheduling to accommodate real time priorities such as meeting critical need for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinating all aspects of travel arrangements (e.g., accommodations, air/land transportation) for domestic and international travel. Preparing required travel documentation and arranging destination support by coordinating with all appropriate contacts. Coordinating events related to customers, business partners, community involvement, and social engagement that are a function of the office. Tracking incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure accountability and ensure issues are resolved in a reliable and professional manner. Professional and positive demeanor while interacting on executive's behalf with internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining continual office coverage to provide executive with administrative support at all times. This includes developing and maintaining strong working together relationships with others to support of the business. Proactively addressing the executives needs to ensure that facilities, equipment, and technical support are available as needed. Searching and retrieving business data (e.g., forms, documents, procedures, policies, time keeping, expense reporting) from available resources, such as Boeing intranet, internet and technical libraries to provide overall compliance with existing and new company policies and procedures. Creating and implementing business resources (e.g., desk procedures, phone lists, contact lists) as reference tools for interim administrative support. Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
