Basic Functions

Performs highly responsible and complex aviation avionics work in planning, developing, coordinating and implementing training programs and services; develops and evaluates training methodology and technical aviation avionics curriculum content; provides technical advice; represents department interests. Performs related work as required. Research, develop and conduct technical training programs for the Avionics maintenance and inspection personnel; to meet the operational demands of AM&M production and the requirements of the airworthiness authorities

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develops curriculum for the Avionics Trade; plan and implement an effective Training Programme for Avionics students.
* Prepares Training materials and lesson plans for Avionics Training.
* Conducts classroom training to License standard; conducts practical training at workshops and laboratory.
* Develops and organizes the Avionics workshop and laboratory.
* Facilitates the development of aviation avionics training program masters to ensure standardization of instructional materials, handouts, tests, lesson plans and delivery..
* Maintains sufficient test bank questions for aviation avionics and electrical courses
* Assists STD Manager in the continuing development and implementation of the Saudization Development program.
* Performs other related duties as may be required.

Education and Minimum Experience Required:

* Recognized apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance vocational / trade or aircraft avionics technology or electrical / electronics engineering degrees).
* Proven experience in hands-on maintenance of large aircraft.
* Minimum of 5 years experience as Avionics instructor with instructional development skills up to the level of establishing and developing new training programs..

Certificates /Licenses Required and Special Skills:

* Radio Electrical Instruments License or equivalent
* Presentation skills is mandatory
* Computer knowledge (Word, Excel and Power point is mandatory)

Ability and Knowledge Required:

* Develop feasible short and long-range plans/goals to project and develop aviation avionics program and projects.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with trainees and those contacted in the course of assignment.
* Organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks to complete job functions in an orderly, efficient manner.
* Exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information.
* Independently make decisions and take appropriate action.
* The principles and practices of administration and management.
* Program or project management techniques.
* Training or instructional strategies and methodologies .
* The principles of group dynamics and human behavior.
* Trends in executive development and management training.
* Problem-solving techniques.
* Report-writing techniques to produce analytical reports or written materials having high organizational impact in appropriate format.
* The principles of supervision.

* Use modern office and training equipment to perform complex office and training tasks.
