Our client is seeking to appoint a Licensed Aircraft Engineers - Avionics based in the UAE. The growth of our clients business has increased the need to appoint a number of highly skilled and qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineers - Avionics to work in their 'state-of-the-art' new engineering facility within their maintenance departments, i.e. Base Heavy, Base Light, Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control Centre and workshops, i.e. Avionics, Powerplant, Cabin and Structures sections. The successful applicant will be required to technically handle and certify their fleet/components and occasionally third party aircraft to the highest level of professional standards whilst leading a highly skilled team of mechanics. Responsibilities will include certification, maintenance and serviceability of aircraft/components whilst ensuring superior safety standards are upheld.
Qualifications:
Licensed Aircraft Engineers - Avionics must have at least five years experience as a certifying engineer
Type ratings:
The following type rating Boeing B777 (electrical and instrument) is required with additional A330 or Airbus A330 type ratings being an advantage
Additional Skills Required:
The successful candidate’s must also have served approved apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance from a recognized body.
Fluency in English is essential.
