An exciting opportunity exists for an individual to work in the role of Business Process Analyst to help achieve the requirements of the overall UK Chinook Through Life Support Contract (TLCS) Performance Based Logistics program. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join a highly motivated and dynamic team that provides an important and highly visible element of the In-service support infrastructure needed by the MoD and RAF to operate the Chinook Weapon System in-service. As a Business Process Analyst main responsibilities are to: Work with programme functional managers to scope, plan and establish business process direction and strategies. Lead and direct the development and maintenance of the business process architecture for process improvement strategies and initiatives. Lead transition into actionable business strategy by understanding (and/or learning) company policies, strategic direction, strategic initiatives (e.g., Quality Management Systems, International Standards for Organization, Capability Maturity Model Initiative, Baldrige Award Criteria, and Employee Involvement, Knowledge Management, Program Management Best Practices, etc). Develop and maintain processes to improve efficiency and cost through the use of process methods, tools and modelling, process standards and guidelines, metric consultation and data analysis. Form and effectively lead cross-functional teams across multiple business processes. Effectively integrate customer and supplier requirements, design and conduct process workshops as and when required. Collect, analyze, document, and integrate requirements from multiple process owners. Influence, negotiate, and act as a change agent with a diverse audience for complex process improvements. Benchmark, or assist in benchmarking, best practices and industry standards; present best practices at internal events or workshops. Balance competing strategic initiatives. Lead the successful completion of specific programs, projects and implementation activities. Participate in or develop mechanisms for establishing, monitoring and integrating project elements, product configuration and communication concerning change management processes and decisions. Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established legal and company precedents, procedures and policies. Participate in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arrange own activities to accomplish those objectives

Typical Education/Experience

 

Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience. Demonstrate having worked with internal and external stakeholders; facilitation of complex process improvements; familiarity with ISO /AS9100 requirements; identification of risks and opportunities for improvements; ability to work independently and in a team environment; highly developed communication, decision making, leadership, interpersonal and team skills.
