CAT Avionics - Boeing - Technical Instructor

Description of Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
•Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Honeywell Avionics Systems installed on Boeing/Airbus Aircraft
•Ability to instruct clients on description, operation and maintenance procedures as listed in the AMM
•Present Honeywell Avionics Systems courses at CAE Training Centers and other facilities.
•This includes use of AMM, CMM, IPC, Wiring Manual, AFM and SB's.
•Assist in other aircraft / engine programs when needed
Qualifications Required:
•Airframe and/or Powerplant or equivalent certificates
•Airbus/Boeing Aircraft Avionics Systems Experience
•10 years aircraft maintenance experience
•5 years hands on avionics experience
•3 years Honeywell Avionics Systems experience
•High school degree or equivalent
•Computer & knowledge of internet applications
•Must be able & willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
•Some travel to deliver training
Qualifications Preferred:
•Strong electrical systems background
•Previous instructional experience
•Above average verbal & written communication skills
•Degree
•Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
