As member of acquire business and program business management teams, assists in proposal development and negotiation of non-complex business solutions for Research & Development (R&D), advanced product development and new and follow-on business. Represents the company to customers, including U.S. Government entities and international customers and commercial customers. Administers non-complex contracts and agreements to ensure efficient, effective and compliant performance during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle including interpretation of contract requirements, risk management, change management, conflict resolution, delivery and payment for products and services. Supports the development of business unit strategy and achievement of goals.

 Government Acquisition Process
Basic knowledge of the government acquisition process.

 Proposal Processes
Basic knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., Estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of cost proposals. Awareness of proposal, accounting, and rate development (common systems). Awareness of audit, fact-finding, and negotiation processes (e.g., self audit, internal audit, government audit, effective negotiation) and how they affect the proposal process.

Typical Education/Experience

 

Bachelor's degree.

Other Job related information

 

Experience with Boeing Supply Chain Management Contracts & Pricing required as well as familiarization with common systems and processes such as Common Contracts System. Understanding of the Contract lifecycle from Receipt of Request for Proposal to Close-out is required.
